Organic truffle orchard and culinary retreat
Clos Racines Orchard is a 30-acre organic truffle farm in Northern California. The farm—a dream of two first—time farmers—will host overnight culinary retreats and weddings during the truffle off-season, with vegetable gardens and naturalized orchards offering seasonal fare. To break the flatness of the site, we situated the main house and guest area at the edge of a new one acre pond. Undulating berms allow for periodic sightlines into the orchards. The project’s scope of work includes masterplanning, site design, planting design, seed mix specifications and construction observation.

The orchard, pond and main house are now complete. More to come!
